Well, ladies, fall is nearly upon us. The cooler days and longer nights conjure up visions

of hand-holding on hayrides at twilight, outdoor tables dressed with rustic burlap and

white candles, sun-colored mums in terra cotta pots, and, of course…football.

 

It is the conundrum many a bride has faced when planning her autumn wedding: How in

the world will I design my wedding around football season? As I learned a long time ago,

if you can’t beat ‘em join ‘em – so why not incorporate your favorite (or your

soon-to-be-husband’s favorite) team into your wedding theme?

 

Lucky is a man whose new bride suggests a groom’s cake boasting the mascot of his
