Ok, pretty girls, let’s be honest. We spend years thinking about our dream wedding gown, months choosing the perfect bouquet, weeks tasting cake and canapés to determine the best bites for our guests – but how much effort do we put into our wedding favors?

It may seem like a trivial detail (hey, the main event will be over already, right?), but let’s put things in perspective. While, of course, we will want everyone to remember the exquisite blossoms painstakingly arranged at the altar, the serenade from the string quartet that greeted everyone at dusk, the perfectly poached wild salmon dinner, think about this: the very last impression you make on your guests will be what they pick up from the table on their way out the door – don’t you want it to be memorable?

While there is absolutely nothing wrong with favors of the traditional sort, why not have fun, shake things up a bit and give your guests something they’ll talk about on the ride home? Take it a step further and turn your thank you happy into an expression of you and your hubby.
